Welcome SoCal Squash Student Trustee

A big welcome to another one of our new Junior Board Members Abigail Alemayeho. Abigail recently graduated from Preuss School UC San Diego and is a freshman at Stanford University. As a high schooler, she started playing squash through the Squash + Education Alliance (SEA) program at Access Youth Academy (AYA) in San Diego and began competing in tournaments in 2019. Before graduating from Preuss, Abigail captained the AYA team, which brought home many wins. She was also part of a robotics group, volunteered at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and worked as a math tutor. She is excited to continue giving to the squash community as the newest member of the SoCal Squash board. If anyone would like to nominate a Junior Board Member, reach out to Dave Jung.
